2025 is our 25th season.

There are usually five concerts each year, including an organ recital, jazz, choral and chamber music. Our aim is to organise musical events in the village, which is midway between Kettering and Market Harborough. Many of the musicians perform each year, for example the Eblana String Trio and the Swarbrick Singers.

Harrington church has an excellent acoustic: it is the venue for most concerts. Thorpe Underwood House has a fine Walker pipe organ, so organ recitals  are held there.

The concerts are run by a small volunteer group, thereby keeping overheads to a minimum. The proceeds are being used for the refurbishment of the bell tower at Harrington church: work on the bells was completed in 2024 and they are regularly rung by our local bellringing team. The long-awaited provision of a WC and pantry/kitchen on the ground floor of the tower is scheduled for late autumn 2025.
